Description

FERN: A fern is any one of a group of about 12,000 species of plants. Unlike mosses they have xylem and phloem (making them vascular plants). They have stems, leaves, and roots like other vascular plants. Ferns do not have either seeds or flowers (they reproduce via spores). Uncommon variegation on this hardy fern. A slow colonizer that sends up new fronds periodically, and likes partial to high light in good soils. May be grown as a houseplant. Mature height: 1-3 feet in five years. Mature height: 12-24 inches. Hardy Zones 7-9 Grow in very bright, indirect light and keep evenly moist, not wet or dry. Trim as needed. Container grow indoors or out in zones 7 and higher.
