We are so excited to begin offering our Hoya Shepardii. This Hoya has long vining foliage that looks very similar to green beans. We love growing these out and placing them in hanging baskets to enjoy their trailing and cascading vines. It enjoys warmth, bright direct light, and a moderate watering schedule. These plants will be shipped fully potted and in a specially crafted wrap. The wrap ensures protection during the shipping process.

This plant looked great at first and I order a lot of plants online from all over. At least half of the leaves have now turned yellow, brown or fallen off at the base. All my years with plants, obvious root rot. This was potted up too early in my opinion and could’ve been potentially fabulous in a 4” rather than 6”. It’s a shame. I suppose on a good note, I think there’s enough to salvage. Not the end of the world but we’ll see.

Actually, the more I look at this mess, it’s obvious that a bunch of smaller, rooted cuttings were placed in a larger pot that they were not suited for. See pic. Yep, a lot of little rooted teenie cuttings in a damp six inch pot.
