Description
Pellionia houseplants are more commonly known by the name Trailing Begonia or Rainbow Vines. Pellionia houseplants are primarily grown for their showy foliage and trailing habit. An evergreen with greenish-pink stems ending in oblong, wavy-edged leaves, Pellionia houseplants are native to Southeast Asia, specifically Vietnam, Malaysia and Burma. Pellionia is usually utilized in hanging baskets but also works well in terrariums. This herbaceous perennial hails from the family Urticaceae and has a low growing (3 to 6 inches) habit with spreading or creeping tendencies (1 to 2 feet), making Pellionia useful as a ground cover in appropriate climates.

Working on a memorial garden with mostly hosta plants. Saw these and thought different. Received plants quickly and was surprised at the nice size for the price. Plants are very healthy. Keeping in house until ready to plant in WNY state. These will be perfect for location. Didn’t want a solid green…deer prefer those. Very happy with purchase, service and the quality! Excellent!!!
