Dense-growing, small evergreen shrub valued for its large trusses of showy flowers. Prefers cooler regions but some protection from winter wind is helpful. Very effective as an accent. Considered the best red rhododendron.

Very beautiful rooted cuttings. It will take several years to see a bloom but they should root and acclimate very well by then. That is if the deer don’t eat them. Looking forward to the color. They will be behind and above white Azeleas.
