HONEYSUCKLE: The genus Lonicera contains more than 200 species worldwide and is distributed in temperate and subtropical regions of North America, Europe, North Africa, and Asia. Most of the species are small trees or shrubs. Honeysuckle is cultivated in private gardens and in cities as an ornamental because of its large, fragrant flowers and brilliant red fruits. Long-blooming with fragrant flowers all summer. More compact twining growth habit. Requires a support structure. Dark copper-green leaves with clusters of reddish-orange flowers. Nicely fragrant. Hardy Zones 3-9. Mature Height: 10′.

This will be my first attempt in trying to grow Chinese Lanterns. The plants I received were good sized, healthy appearing and packaged securely. I have them in my windowsill for now and will later place in an outdoor planter when our weather warms up. Received promptly. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I received 2 plants as ordered from Hirts in beautiful shape. They appeared to be very healthy – well worth the 23.48 for two. I also received another eucalyptus ordered through Etsy but from a different garden. I ordered only one as it was higher in price. The total with shipping for one plant was 45.64. One branch was broken and the color was not as blue. I’ll stick with Hirts in the future.

This is the 2nd Helleborus I have purchased from this company and I have purchased several from other companies. I have been the most pleased with their plants, they are much larger and healthier than other’s I have purchased elsewhere. I highly recommend!
