Description
Hoya obovata is one of our very favorite specimen plants. It has large, deep green oval-shaped leaves, often speckled with flecks of white and pink. The leaves emerge on long tendrils that shoot out dramatically from the base of the plant. Over time, these vines grow to be quite long, eventually setting sweet-smelling flowers that look like little clusters of pink stars. Hoya obovata will happily climb up a stake or trellis, or set your pot in a hanger or on high shelf and let the vines cascade.
Compared to many Hoyas, this one is relatively fast to grow and sets flower earlier than most.

This was a tough one because overall the plant looks lovely! It arrived 2 days sooner than expected, which I was thrilled about. It looks healthy and traveled well. My only concern is the size. It’s a bit smaller than I expected. I purchased the two plant option and it was literally just two stems in one 4″ pot. I like the plant, a lot, I guess it was just the description that threw off my expectations. Would I order from here again? I probably would.
