Description
Duke blueberry bush is a wonderful, easy to grow early ripening northern blueberry variety. Duke blueberry is a heavy, consistent producer with an attractive, firm, light blue high quality berry. Duke blooms late but ripens early, which protects the blossoms from spring frosts. Branches may droop to the ground when laden with fruit, prompting many gardeners to use a simple trellis as support. Lovely orange and burnt-yellow fall color. When planting blueberry bushes always calculate at least 2 bushes per each family member. Cannot ship to Washington state due to USDA regulations. Blueberries are valued for their ornamental foliage, flowers and berries. Their small bell shaped flowers contrast beautifully with the leathery leaves during the spring and summer and are followed by edible round berries which turn purple when ripe to eat. Proper name: Vaccinium corymbosum Hardiness Zone: 7-10 Height: 6 feet Light: Full Sun to Part Sun Flowering Time: Mid-season Fall Color: Yes Berries: Yes Deer Resistant: Yes

Very disappointed in this plant..don’t think it will make it because it was a weak looking sprig.
update: my little sprig is growing like a weed!!! Never thought it would survive, but I was wrong! Have to change my rating and thank you so much for sending me this gorgeous little plant!
