Description

Crassula ‘Spiralis’ Black Curl (also known as C. ‘Estagnol’): A particularly unique form of succulent. This slow-growing, stacked Crassula has small, green leaves that spiral around a central stem. The stems can branch and form a small, shrubby plant up to about 5″ tall. It blooms with clusters of small, white flowers. The stems can eventually branch and form a small, shrubby plant, with blooms forming clusters of small white flowers. It is a rare, drought tolerant Crassula and loves very bright light, especially if you want that dense curl. Soft succulents will not survive a hard frost, but if there is a risk of freezing temperatures they can be brought indoors to grow on a sunny window sill or under a grow light. They need ample sunlight, great drainage, and infrequent water to prevent rot. Pick containers with drainage holes and use well-draining cactus and succulent soil with 50% to 70% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite. Water deeply enough for water to run out the drainage hole, then wait for the soil to fully dry before watering again.

The plant I received seriously looks almost exactly like the one in the picture – lovely.
I took a chance and ordered it in the middle of winter. I live on the west coast, and it arrived perfect – part of the shipping cost includes a 72 hour heat pack. I’ve ordered from Hirt’s before, and as before the packing was superb. I ordered multiple plants, and they all arrived looking beautiful.

Well packaged, very healthy plant. It took off right away when I potted it. It’s happy.

This is the plant right out of the box. So green and gorgeous! I think I’ve found my new favorite seller. Every plant I’ve ordered from here has arrived looking fantastic. I’ve tried to order live plants from several other sellers on Etsy and none survived the trip. So happy I’ve finally found a place to purchase plants from online that I can rely on.

I have ordered from this seller before (I bought bareroot pineberries last year) and was so happy with my product I bought from them again. I ordered 8 cherry blossom strawberry plants. They arrived quickly and were packed fantastic! each plant had the soil taped inside the container and then carefully bubble wrapped and then more bubble wrap in the box. One plant already had strawberries started! I’m super excited to add these to my garden this year!
