Features:
- English ivy plants are evergreen perennials and also known as woody vines. This plant can be planted in purpose to cover the ground which spreads horizontally and can reach 8 inches in height. This woody vines can also climb up to 80 feet, making a perfect fence cover.
- An aggressive grower plant and can spread quickly without proper care and maintenance. At home indoors or out, English ivy does well planted in containers or baskets which serves as a hanging plant. Ivy needs protection from winter winds as well as the hot summer sun.
- Requires part shade to full shade. Loves fertile and moist soil. Soil pH level neutral to slightly alkaline. Let the soil dry out before you water your plant again. Bloom time is usually during Fall with greenish-white or greenish-yellow flower color.
- Feed English ivy every two weeks in the spring and summer season. Trim ground cover plants in spring time to keep it manageable. Hardy Zones: 4-9 USDA.
