Planted 4/9/2020 in zone 6a, first harvest was 2 months later, and today (6/25/2020) is peak harvest. The peas are good as snap peas, but I prefer them full-grown as peas in a pod (at which point the pod is edible but not very tasty). Also, yield is amazing. As an experiment I planted these next to Burpeeana Early (hybrid) peas which are advertised for early and heavy yield. These green arrows FAR outperformed them! As you can see in my photos, these grow 8-10 peas in a pod and are very consistent – compare to the piddly hybrid pods. Also the flavour is AMAZING – really sweet and juicy – the hybrid ones were tasty but not as sweet and more bitter. Germination rate close to 100%, and these peas are healthy and grow off the ground better than the hybrids. Equal yield as hybrids, equal time to harvest. I ENTHUSIASTICALLY recommend!

Fast shipping, USPS took their sweet time to deliver them though. Can’t wait to plant them all and grow my own food forest.

I finally got my seeds today. I purchase these on April 14 and a mailing label was printed on May 3rd paying for the whole order. I can understand the tough times (I make masks by myself) and getting crazy with orders. I didn’t need the extra anxiety however and a whole month of not answering my emails. I got my order after reporting the seller to Esty. But with that said, I got everything I ordered and it was pack well. Now I can concentrate on feeding the people around me.
