No need to peel or cut into chunks. Dark purple skin is thin and tender. Flesh has a silky texture with few seeds and mildly sweet flavor needing very little cooking time. Harvest when fruit is young and glossy. Early; Productive; Great for containers; 3-6″ fruit. Growing Tips: – Sow seeds indoor about 6-8 weeks before last frost. – Transplant when outdoor overnight temperature is 50F or higher. – Space plants 18-24″ apart; space rows 3′ apart. – Full sun is preferred; partial shade is fine for hot summer heat areas. – Harvest fruits with glossy skin, gently press your finger into the eggplant.
