Description
(Allium ampeloprasum) American Flag Leek originated in the late 1800’s and has a tall, broad stem that resembles a flagpole. This variety has a sweet, mild onion flavor that is perfect braised or used in soups and stews. 7-9” inch stems are pearly-white with tall blue-green leaves. Leeks are very cold hardy and can be left in the garden into fall for an extended harvest or overwintered in milder climates. {Quantity:} 1g (Min. 200 Seeds)
