Dating back to the 1700s, this variety was first grown by Native Americans in New England. Produces large 18-20 lb pumpkins up to 12-20” in diameter. Thick, sweet flesh is excellent for cooking. TO GROW: Sow outside 2-4 weeks after average last frost when soil temperatures are above 60°F. Plant in hills with 5 seeds per hill.
