This variety of Chinese stem lettuce has pointed, light green leaves. Good tolerance to heat and cold and is slow bolting. This celtuce can tolerate 100°F for a few days and slow bolting. This variety has nice stem development during warm season. Cool season annual Maturity: Approx. 75-85 days Planting season: Spring, summer and fall – Typically seeds are sowed in starter trays (ideal germination temperature is 60F-70F, so do not use heat pad) – Transplant them when there are 4 to 8 true leaves. – Seedlings should be spaced 4-6″ apart and rows should be 12-18″ apart. – Great autumn crop can survive light frost. – Since this is heat-resistant variety, can practically grown from early spring to late autumn. – In ideal planting condition, with 1-gram of seeds, harvesting 50-100 pounds of celtuce is very possible. – During the growth period, feel free to peel off large leaves on the bottom of the stalk and stir fry them with a touch of minced garlic.
