Description
(1-OZ) 11200+Seeds Red Streaks Mizuna Japanese mustard green seeds. This heirloom non-GMO Japanese mustard green variety is super easy to grow, can be used as microgreen, baby green, salad, stir fried or in soup. The serrated grungy leaves are red purplish, packed with zingy peppery flavor! Direct sowing after last frost, cover the seeds with 1/4” fine soil; ready to harvest in 30 to 40 days. Should pick the young ones as baby greens; allow remaining ones room to grow; matured mizuna got bolder taste yet milder than arugula. Consider plant autumn crop, as it would last much longer than spring crop (no summer heat to worry about), and even more flavorful after light frost, picking them way into November here in zone 5B. With coldframe, greenhouse or low tunnel protection, you may pick fresh mizuna greens til Christmas.
