Description
10 Seeds SWEET BELL PEPPER: Bell peppers have a rounded, square shape with four lobes. They are hollow, with flat seeds inside. Bell peppers are the most commonly grown type of pepper in North America. Most bell peppers are harvested when they are still green, but when left to mature on the plant for a longer length of time, some peppers will turn shades of red, yellow or even purple. North Star Pepper: An outstanding producer of 5-6 medium to large sized bell peppers. The first of the early standard bells to turn from green to mature red. The beautiful, 4 inch, blocky, 3-4 lobed fruit is smooth and thick fleshed. Gardeners and market growers alike will appreciate the strong branch habit and leaf coverage for scald protection. Resistant to tobacco mosaic virus.

Working on a memorial garden with mostly hosta plants. Saw these and thought different. Received plants quickly and was surprised at the nice size for the price. Plants are very healthy. Keeping in house until ready to plant in WNY state. These will be perfect for location. Didn’t want a solid green…deer prefer those. Very happy with purchase, service and the quality! Excellent!!!

My blueberry plant arrived in excellent condition – super fast shipment and as described. Will definitely be ordering from Hirt’s again in the future.
For anyone who orders live plants – make sure that upon delivery you immediately open the box and remove the plants (don’t wait a day or two). I removed the packaging holding the soil in the container, watered my plant and then placed on my sunny kitchen window sill to condition for a week or so before moving outside. I will re-pot in a month or two (when I begin to see roots coming out of the pot the blueberry was shipped in). I will be ordering from Hirt’s again in the future 🙂
