Description
Dyckias are a succulent type bromeliad native to Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina and Uruguay. They prefer a sunny location and should be watered only when dry. They readily form offsets (pups) and will grow into a neat colony with age. They are excellent for house plants, open terrariums or fairy gardens. Long, succulent, burgundy leaves that deepen in colour in full sun. Flowers in spring on spikes with orange blooms. They are drought tolerant but thrive on frequent watering during the active growing season. Keep plants on the dry side during cold weather.

Every time I order from Hirts Gardens, the plants come quickly, well-wrapped and boxed, and very healthy! Thank you as always!

I have ordered from this seller before (I bought bareroot pineberries last year) and was so happy with my product I bought from them again. I ordered 8 cherry blossom strawberry plants. They arrived quickly and were packed fantastic! each plant had the soil taped inside the container and then carefully bubble wrapped and then more bubble wrap in the box. One plant already had strawberries started! I’m super excited to add these to my garden this year!
