The plant itself was in good condition and a nice size but upon closer look it was absolutely covered in aphids. I’m so glad I noticed before taking it out to plant. They were on every stem and under nearly every leaf.

This will be my first attempt in trying to grow Chinese Lanterns. The plants I received were good sized, healthy appearing and packaged securely. I have them in my windowsill for now and will later place in an outdoor planter when our weather warms up. Received promptly. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
