Description
Epiphyllum related Species Disocactus nelsonii Has a small purple pink bloom, small to medium flat basket growth, this variety has been used in hybridizing many of todays hybrid Epiphyllums, although closely related its actually classified as a Disocatus. There can be slight differences in bloom color on different plants with this name due to conditions in its original native climate since it has a wide growing range from Mexico to Honduras and Guatemala. Disocactus (Epicactus) nelsonii is a beautiful Epicactus with pink flowers. Likes 25% coarse sand, pumice or grit for drainage.
