Details: Haworthia is a large genus of small succulent plants endemic to Southern Africa . Like the aloes, they are members of the subfamily Asphodeloideae and they generally resemble miniature aloes, except in their flowers, which are distinctive in appearance. Haworthias are delightful little succulents that make very attractive small houseplants. Potted plants are often moved outdoors for the summer months, and in regions without frost, they are sometimes grown as garden plants. Light: Thrives in bright indirect to direct light. Can tolerate more medium indirect light than other common succulents. Water: Water every 2-3 weeks in direct light, allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light. Fertilize during the summer growing season with a cactus fertilizer. Don’t feed during the winter.
