50 Seeds AGATE organic Edamame seeds; Edible Soy Bean Soybean; 札幌枝豆; historic variety from Sapporo Japan; non-GMO Originally collected by the USDA in 1929 in Sapporo, Japan and introduced in the U.S. by 1937. High yields of small olive green seeds with brown saddles. Good eating quality. Very rare variety. 65-70 days. Growing tips: – Prefer well drained soil with PH 6.0-6.8 – Direct sowing, space seeds 4″ apart; space rows at least 18″ apart – Sow during late spring or when overnight temperature is consistently over 50F. Cover seeds with 1″ soil – Harvest pods 65-70 days after sowing, when pods change color from bright green to yellow green 7.5-gram packet has about 50 seeds 30-gram packet has about 200 seeds 150-gram packet has about 1000 seeds Germination rate 77%; tested 07/2021
