Heavy producer of oval, creamy yellow, warty fruits with black spines. Excellent crisp sweet flavor, no need to peel. Best when eaten at 4″ long. Very good for bread and butter pickles. 55-60 days. Of course I won’t know how good the seeds are until planting season when I see how well they germinate and find out how well they produce but the seeds were packaged securely in a plastic bag and then the packet was wrapped with foam in an envelope. They were delivered to my mailbox fairly quickly.
